Winter Prayer is a short film about a priest who enters a restaurant and sits outside in the outdoor dining area, where a COVID-19 partition on the table lies. A stranger sits down next to the priest and starts to confess small, simple vulnerabilities in the middle of a winter night.
Winter Prayer was directed and written by Haolun Xu, and shot by Ryan Quon. It features James Baksh and Javis Williams as a man and a priest respectively.
Winter Prayer is an Official Selection for the 2022 Lakefront Film Festival, and a Honorable Mention for the 2022 Berlin Indie Film Festival.
